Vintage Primitive Cheese Box With Handpainted Painted Lid Dufeck's Co., Denmark Wisconsin 1930's-1940's. Measures 15 in diameter & 5.5 in height. Sold as cheese boxes, when empty, many times they were handpainted and used as pantry boxes or sewing boxes. This one has a lovely winter scene painted on it & is signed & dated 1942 or 1992. Box in nice condition. Does show some wear to wood, with a few woodchecks & scratches. Painted scene on pantry lid shows minimal wear & fading.
