This gorgeous fishing creel basket is in pretty good condition for its age. No notable breaks in the wicker, there is heavy patina to the leather accents and straps. The handle on the backside has been removed/cut (see photo). The strap that buckles in the front has some cracking to it and it is stiff, I wouldn’t handle the strap often to prevent the strap from cracking further or potentially breaking off. There is some light gray or staining to the inside and the lid. It doesn’t smell moldy at whole, but perhaps the gray areas were from water damage at some point.
It measures 8” tall and and about 16” wide.
