This is an unused, lovely kimono fabric kept in pristine condition. It was obtained from a kimono shop owner. It's a stunning komon (small-patterned kimono) fabric with a deep richness achieved through a special multiple-gradation dyeing technique (tajūbokashi). It's a signed work by Kyoto dyeing artist, Riki Sōun. The condition is exceptional.
