HUGE VTG Button Lot 97 Cards + 2lbs Loose Bakelite Glass Celluloid Czech Wood
Large mixed lot of over 800 VTG buttons from my aunt’s personal collection. This includes buttons from her mother who spent much time in West Germany at the turn of the 20th century and WWII era. See her hand written note for some of the gems included :)This lot includes 97 partial to full carded sets from brands like La Petite, La Mode, Le Chic, Lansing, and more. Loose portion weighs 2 lbs 14 oz and features materials including Bakelite, celluloid, glass, Czech, West German, Victorian, wood, metal, crochet, carved, rhinestones, and plastic. I know there are some Christian Dior buttons in there but didn’t take the time to hunt for them. splendid variety of sizes, colors, and styles—some novelty, carved, or textured. Ideal for sewing, craft, costuming, or resale. Cards mostly date mid-century to 1980s, with some earlier examples in loose mix. Sold as-is.
