More information about Vintage Cribbage was invented in the early 1600s by Sir John Suckling, an Englis

1974 E.S. Lowe Milton Bradley Continuous Track Wooden Cribbage Board 1505 FS
Cribbage was invented in the early 1600s by Sir John Suckling, an English courtier, poet, gamester and gambler, as a derivation of the game noddy. While noddy has disappeared, cribbage has survived, virtually unchanged, as one of the highly in-demand games in the English-speaking world.
Cards the deck is used without jokers, and the suits are equal. Cards rank from king (high) to ace (low). Face cards are worth 10 points, and other cards are worth their index value.
DealingThe player who cuts the lowest card deals first. The dealer and nondealer alternate dealing six cards each.
CribbingAfter dealing, each player discards two cards face down to form the crib.
Scoring players earn points for achieving combinations favor pairs, three of a kind, and four of a kind. The dealer scores their hand last, then scores the crib as an additional hand. Cribbage can be played with two to four players.
