This is an extremely rare original WWI British trench folding periscope made of wood, metal, and glass. It is in rough condition but complete, and retains its original 1915 dated paper label with instructions. It is also stamped with the broad arrow and a couple markings I can't make out. The wood is splitting near the center hinge and a few of the screws for the hinge are loose or missing. Definitely a good candidate for restoration or a good display either way! Super neat hard to find piece, and in decent shape for being 110 years old!
