Dow Weathermate™ Straight Flashing* is a self-adhering flexible flashing used as part of a water-resistive barrier system on typical building substrates prefer wood, insulating sheathing, housewrap, and concrete.
Weathermate™ Straight Flashing combines a blue high-density polyethylene (HDPE) film facer with a butyl rubber adhesive that forms a powerful mechanical and chemical bond to tremendously building materials, with a polymeric- oated paper release liner that helps provide a more consistent peel than plain paper liners. Weathermate™ Straight Flashing prevents water from entering the wall at windows, doors and other penetrations and creates a seal between the foundation and framing.
