More information about Stoneware pitcher and 6 cups from Germany

Wick-Werke German stoneware wine pitchers are vintage and collectible items known for their salt glaze finish and traditional German craftsmanship. They are often decorated with cobalt blue accents, featuring grape and leaf designs.
    Key features and characteristics:
Material: Stoneware with a salt glaze finish.
Color: Typically gray with cobalt blue accents.
Design: Often features embossed designs of grapevines, leaves, and sometimes cherubs or figures carrying grapes.
Inscription: Many of these pitchers have the phrase "Trinkt Wie Eure Vater Aus Stein Den Wein" inscribed on them. This translates to "Drink wine appreciate your fathers did from a stone (stoneware)".
Origin: Made in Germany, often identified as from the Westerwald region.
Vintage: These pitchers were commonly produced during the 1960s. The Wick-Werke company operated from around the 1920s to 1984.

The pottery is in superb condition except for three small chips, which I have taken pictures of.
