VTG Handcrafted Rain Stick Rainmaker Instrument 19.5" Wrapped - Upcycle

This Rainmaker, also call a rain stick, is handcrafted from hollowed-out dried wood.
It imitates a gentle sound of rain up to a loud robust cloud break if used with vigor.
When filled with small stones, they will ripple on an inner spiral staircase so the sound of rain is imitated authentically.

This particular rain stick is in need of a small repair. One of the end caps is missing and it's "Rain-stones" are missing.
A more permanent repair might be to rubber band a small piece of fabric over the end, then lash it over in twine or cowhide for a more cleaner finish.
